@FANADICALCOWHEAD it is and is not the same. all cars must try and maintain a 14:1 fuel ratio 14L of air to 1 liter of fuel to run the best and most optimal (stoichiometric ratio). intakes how ever can be short or long and can very in the delivery of the air flow. and anything once u add a turbo or a super charger to it now has the positional to reach any HP number u want. just dial up the boost advance or retard the spark dump more fuel and open up the intake and exhaust and HP is born!

@osvst You realize that the intake manifold and fuel injection systems are roughly the same size on every car right? So it's no wonder that you'll only get 505hp with the 7.0L but if you were to alter the engine (Add more valves per cylinder) get a quad port intake manifold with four holly 750 carburetors, you too can have 100 + hp per liter and if you really want to get crazy you can slap a supercharger or turbo charger on that thing too. And guess what the ZR1 is a 100hp per liter engine :0

@osvst Actually, unless you already have turbo or twin turbo packages in those supra's, Rx7's, Skylines, 300z's, etc. But without turbo's and without any proper tunning those cars aren't as fast as you say they are, I should know seeing as I have every motortrend book from 1984 - 2010 and they all said the same thing. As for Supras and mazda's being in style? I doubt that too, a lot more kids these days are embracing muscle cars, the whole Supra and Rx7 scene died with the last fast & furious.

@osvst If the Zo6 is faster than the Zr1 from 0-60 and has very similar test numbers as the ZR1, Minus the top end speed and is anywhere between 65,000$ and 85,000$ in the end The Zo6 is the best bang for your buck. But my original statement was to point out that theres more to the new corvettes than just supercharged 6.2's. On an unrelated note if history repeats there might be a 6.5L v8 that'll be replacing the mere two year old LS3.

@FANADICALCOWHEAD the R8 for what it is, is a very impressive car. The only thing that i dont like about the two is the price. thats y i said the GT-R is a better bang for the buck. But the R8s down side is its styling is u like it or u dont. The corvette is a great car but it needs a "new" look. the interior is very very old looking and the new front end looks like that off a Ferrari. thats to me is the only down fall with the corvette. speed means nothing if u cant show off the craftsmanship.

They have special parking all through downtown and mandatory at all new stores for electric cars. Fucking great advert !! Having had a mercedes (A140 doh!!) and now two Audi's i can confirm that Audi's if well manintained are exceptional cars. Mercesdes underpining is very strong, unfortuantely i bought the car that had built in design faults that enabled Mercedes to cash in no end. Very very bad experince, to the point where i may never again go Merc.

@nubreed000 I must admit at first i was shocked when they brought out the e60 5 series but in the end i grew to like it when they brought the M sport kit out for it, and the e60 m5 ws a monster. I did quite like the new f10 5 series, i know some people have said its bland but with the new m sport kit it looks nice apart from the rear bumper. However i have read many review that say the new 5 series is not upto scratch on handling and even falls behind on what the e60 had in handling ability.

I love the way this car is designed... HOWEVER it is a well known fact that Audi's are made of fluff and brake often. I know for a fact the dealerships are crooks (when it comes to repairs). Even over heard two sales reps talking about how a certain customer is going to be upset when he finds out his transmission is SHOT, and new one would cost $8G. the other rep sales rep replied "ha, ha, well have you though about trying to sell him a new car?".. The car was only 2years old.

I realize that the RS5 is likely faster than the M3, but I still wouldn't own one. In a performance car I feel like RWD is the only appropriate layout. Also, I don't like the chrome and aluminium bits on super saloons. I would much rather own the less ostentatious BMW 335is. It is reminiscent of I6 M3's of old and will be rarer than the RS5 and M3 (since it occupies a unique niche in the buyers' market).

Anyone who has lived/lives in Germany knows that the sports luxury pecking order is as follows: Porsche>MB & BMW> Audi, Saab, Volvo > VW. I really like Audi (especially the new B8 A4/S4 and S5/RS5), but it is the truth. IMHO BMW is the sports king in the segment and MB is the luxury king. Audi has the looks and interior. U.S prices for Audi suck relative to MB and BMW...Audi's aren't worth it here. Btw I own a Space Gray 335i coupe with JB3.

This is a remake of the exact commercial Audi did back in the 90's with an Audi 100, also equiped with quattro. It is neither impossible to drive up the ramp, nor is it impossible to stop at the top. Pretty much every (premium) car should be able to handle a slope like that, but Audi just had the idea so a long time ago, that nobody else picked it up.

Die Idee zu diesem Audi Foto- Shooting ist genial ! Ich bin schon auf die ersten Bilder gespannt ! Bill u. Tom lieben schnelle Autos und welcher Junge oder Mann tut dies nicht ? Ich frage mich ernsthaft, wer die Idee hatte so ein häßliches Auto neben die wunderschönen Oldtimer zu stellen. Eine rollende Badewanne mit Überdachung, mehr ist der A1 für mich nicht. Zu Tokio Hotel sag´ ich in dem Zusammenhang nichts, sind mir nach wie vor sympatisch.

@DerPille87 .. ich glaube einfach, dass AUDI eben erkannt hat, dass die Jungs sehr beliebt sind und welches Potential sie haben, weltweit. Auch wenn viele das in Deutschland nicht wahrhaben wollen. Vor allem scheinen AUDI's Lebensansichten wesentlich großzügiger auszufallen, als bei manchem Kommentator. Ich, als "alter" Fan (das "alt" kann man in allen Richtungen benutzen), bin sehr stolz auf alle 4 und freue mich, wenn es erfolgreich für sie weiter geht, denn zurück können sie NIE/nicht mehr

@greTaa There are alot of older TH fans that are in their 20's, 30's & even 40's and definitely able to buy the Audi A1 if they wish ;) Judging by this backstage photo shoot, there's high chance that the photo/tv ads will turn out very eye catching and attention grabbing, captivating even to make people look twice. For advertising to the general public, as long as the promotional material creates desire and looks good, then it is already an advertising success. This will turn out spectacular!

That car kicks ass in that weather (any weather for that matter), now exposing my 350Z Nismo to that would just be rude. My Z was garaged all winter not brought out until April (after all the salt residue was washed off the lovely Pittsburgh Roads). I absolutely loved driving my Audi this winter, it was such a pleasure compared to vehicles I've had in past winters.

I used to own BMWs. Since my father bought an Audi A6 3.0 TDI station wagon, I am totally convinced that Audi makes the better cars - waaaayyyyy better! My next car will be an Audi for sure, of course not an R8 (can´t afford it).I think of having an A4, maybe used, some TDI, to replace my BMW 320d (2005 E91), worst quality car i ever had!!! Even my VW Golf II was of higher quality! Why? VAG-Group! This goes out to BMW - just think, why you´re loose customers!
